The Wells family is blessed to be a part of Northside UMC!! Since moving back to Atlanta in 1998, we cannot imagine our lives without this great church family. Wendi and I have reaped much spiritual growth from the many ministries, programs and PEOPLE here at Northside.

Specifically, over the past year, as a member of the Parish Staff committee, I have been able to participate in learning about the many talents and strengths our church leadership and staff brings to all of us. I also am very excited about the recent additions to our staff and the vision that will be shaping our church and its ministries in the future.

As parents of two youth coming along, Brant 8th and Audrey 5th, we are so excited to see the growing momentum in our youth ministries. This year’s confirmation class was record in size, but more importantly they are a quality group of new church members. As a chaperone for the confirmation retreat this past spring, I can tell you there is no shortage of energy, fun, and commitment that this group will continue to bring to our church! Also, Wendi and I were able to participate as fourth grade Sunday School teachers this past year and take part in the ever growing ministries for our elementary children. Mr. Mike even welcomed us as members of the Advent Choir this past Christmas...what a wonderful gift that was! We are also members of the Seekers Sunday School class where we have formed wonderful, lifelong friendships.

In addition, Wendi is currently serving on the building committee for our great new facilities. What great blessings God is providing at Northside UMC where we can share His love and glorify His kingdom!

As we prepare our hearts for the annual stewardship campaign "Blessed to Bless Others," let us listen as God calls each of us to not only receive the blessings we have been given but to bless others in His name. This year our commitment week will be from October 27th - November 2nd. Come join us during this wonderful time of celebration at Northside UMC!
